“ When visiting from Oregon we stopped by for lunch on 2/13/25. Our friend from Anchorage took us there and said the food is amazing. He was right. We had burgers and they were so delicious. Bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had. Our server Chelsea was just great. Only wise we lived closer. ”
“ We were sent here by our local kids and were NOT disappointed. Our seating time was fast, our server fun and on point, and the manager, the food came out quickly, and was very tasty. Shelby recommended one of the sandwiches and it was huge and delicious. My Hawaiian pizza, add jalapenos, was top notch and the drinks were effective . ”
“ Super great food. I had the Italian Sub and the tomatoe bisque soup was the best I’ve ever had. Really nice atmosphere, very nice staff. Loved dropping in here while visiting Palmer. ”
“ Hands down the best restaurant in terms of service in our 10 days of Alaska trip ! When we tried ordering beer , she said try before you decide then brought us four choices of samples . When we ordered calzone , she asked if we would like it to be decided in two or four parts. The fire grilled burger and soup were served divided nicely already. Etc. Everything she had done was just sweet and nice ! Food was great too! Liked the jalapeno calzone and the tomato soup a lot ! ”
“ Given that the other people in my group know that I’m big on leaving reviews, they all told me “Ginnie this is definitely 5 stars!” And I couldn’t agree more! Atmosphere is wonderful and the outside wasn’t even open! Listen, we are from way down south in Lafayette, Louisiana and my boyfriend knows absolutely nothing nor cares to know really, about craft beers. He drinks name brand and that’s it. Garrett was about serve and my boyfriend asked for something similar to said name brand. Garrett knew immediately and when I say I have never seen my boyfriend enjoy a craft beer before.. he could not stop talking about. The other couple with us said, “ok I want one too” and had the exact same reaction. IIIIII don’t drink beer at all and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. The food was delicious! We had the nachos with chicken for an appetizer, and a meat lovers pizza, Thai chicken salad, buffalo wings, and the beefy grilled cheese. AALLLL delicious! So much food though that we will now have leftovers for a breakfast of champs! I am so happy we ended up coming here after sitting around at our AirBnB deliberating on what to do for the evening! After we ate here we finished off with some ice cream at The Big Dipper homemade ice cream, and you can go head that way and read my review about them BECAUSE IM SPRINTING. ”
“ I was starting to doubt the quality of food in Alaska. This place restored my faith for prompt friendly service and hot delicious food. I was recommended this ale house by our pilot and I am so glad we listened. Our waitress was friendly and the food came out quickly. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and the cheese fries. The pizza was gooey with cheese while keeping the crisp of the pizza. The cheese fries were hot, the portion side was huge! ”
“ I loved the food at the Ale House. The waitress was Galina and she was the best. I haven't had to ask for anything and it's been decades since I've have service like that. Thank you all for the great service and food. ”
“ A Palmer, AK classic. Serving local beer and delicious food, this alehouse is worth the wait (which often happens during peak hours). I never miss a visit (or more) to the Palmer Alehouse when I'm in town. The most noteworthy accomplishment, in my esteem, is the BEST BLOODY MARY ON EARTH (in my limited experience). Served with delicious pickled green beans, real horseradish, a hamburger slider, bacon, and the obligatory lemon, olives and celery - EPIC. ”
